Multimedia in the Classroom

The most recent addition to most American classroom's is the smart board. It provides an area for you to project anything from your computer on the screen while on your computer or away from it, provides more opportunity for all types of learning styles and you or the students can touch the board to move or interact while learning. By using audio in my classroom it will provide more opportunities for my students to be able to listen to someone else read them stories other than me on cassette tape or CD. Video can be very beneficial to my students if used correctly in the classroom learning. I would like to show different video clips and allow my students to see things that I would not be able to show them in real life. More schools are implementing computers into their classroom work and learning. The use of different types of multimedia in my classroom will enhance learning by allowing my students to learn the new age of technology and it might even help them learn a core subject lesson in a new different way that they could comprehend.
